Kubuntu and Kdevelop

What a weird week. I won't bore you with the details, but it's strange that I'm seeing more and more (paying) work come my way, and I'm not even looking for it. I won't turn it down though either...

One of these projects is going to need me to do some coding with C++ and QT. So, I wanted to install Kdevelop to get a head start on learning this interface (and brush up on my atrophied C coding). Alas, I just replaced my desktop install with Kubuntu, and getting Kdevelop all set up isn't quite as straight forward as it should be (though it's not bad). While trying to get the documentation part of the app working properly, I came across a good overview of how to get KDevelop set up. Unfortunately this doesn't resolve my lack of documentation though. Any tips?

UPDATE: made some progress. It turns out that once you specify the htdig location (under Settings / Configure Kdevelop, and the Documentation section) I needed to restart Kdevelop. Or maybe it had something to do with reinstalling the kdevelop3-doc package... At least I have tons more documents available to me now. But I'm not seeing a clear "getting started tutorial for C/C++ with Kdevelop". Ah well, there's a getting started guide under the Help documentation (part of the main KDE help) for learning your way around the app. I just won't be able to integrate it with Kdevelop. I can live with that...
