Happy New Year!!!
Part of getting the new year started for me, I have created this site where I can post my thoughts and activities. What brought me to this decision was the old open2space website. The website was a poor merge of personal interests with business information (in my opinion). So Grover Ponders was devised to remove the personal items from the open2space site.
At the same time open2space is getting an overhaul as well, and these activities will make up some of the first few entries here.
For those who may not know me, I am a computer consultant with a wide range of interests and experience. For the past year and some, I have been self-employed (open2space is my business), and been doing well enough at this. Prior to this, I have worked as a developer, system administrator, network engineer, and technician. As you can imagine I'm fairly good with computers - but there's always more to learn.
What types of things will you see here? Well, I have undertaken a few personal projects when I'm not busy with other things. These include a program to study the stock markets for me, some graphics programming, an interest in artificial intelligence, and some networking projects. Each of these are in various states of being (some are just thoughts, well others have been prototyped or developed). These projects will periodically see mention here. Also, sometimes I see things happen that irk me enough that I just HAVE to say something, so my thoughts on these things will also be done here.
